Bike subscription in Denmark: prices and how it works
Bike subscriptions from DKK 89/month with a 12-month commitment. Compare plans, deposit, included lock and Ring Ring’s manual shop matching.
A used everyday bike on subscription
You pay to use a bike and return it when the subscription ends. You do not become its owner. Ring Ring receives your booking and then checks options with a local bike shop. Choose a women’s or men’s frame; the actual model and size are agreed before collection.
The concept is for everyday journeys to class, work and the shops. The offer covers regular city bikes; it does not include electric bikes, cargo bikes or a particular sports model. If you only need a bike for a few days, compare it with daily rental.
You make a request. We find the options.
Book your bike
Women's or men's, and where you live. Takes a minute.
We find your bike shop
We match you with a bike shop nearby and let you know when your bike is ready.
Pick it up and ride
If it breaks, drop by the shop and ride off on another one the same day.
The booking form submits a request. You do not select a bike shop yourself. We contact you with the shop, bike and possible collection date before payment of the first month and deposit. Availability and the distance to a shop are confirmed individually.
What does it cost?
- DKK 0 setup fee
- Service and swaps at your local shop
- Approved frame lock included
- Lights, reflectors and bell, all street-legal
- Theft: the bike's replacement price is DKK 800, deposit deducted
- DKK 300 refundable deposit. No CPR number? Your passport works
The DKK 300 deposit is added to the first month. The lowest monthly price requires a 12-month commitment. Compare the full paid period and agree your end date and return; the end of a commitment does not automatically cancel a subscription.
Lock, servicing and your responsibility
An approved frame lock is included. Servicing and swaps take place at the agreed bike shop. Contact the shop about faults and arrange a visit during opening hours. Ask before commissioning a repair elsewhere.
The deposit is not theft insurance. The stated replacement price is DKK 800. After deduction of a full DKK 300 deposit, the remaining amount is DKK 500. A replacement bike requires a new deposit and an agreed handover.
The subscription terms are still marked as a draft. Get the final terms and your agreement confirmed before payment. Read the terms.
Where can you make a request?
We accept requests for Copenhagen and Aarhus and find a shop after you contact us.
