A request, a collection and a return are three separate steps. Use this checklist to keep arrangements and records in order. It describes Ring Ring's process, not the practice of every bike rental provider.
After requesting a bike
We use the request to investigate a shop and a bike. Wait for confirmation of the shop, address and date. Agree how identification and payment will be handled. Do not send passport or payment-card details in ordinary email.
Tell us early if you need a specific start date. A request does not guarantee a particular bicycle on a particular day. See the booking process.
Before riding away
Try the bike and have the saddle adjusted. Check the brakes, lights and lock together with the shop. Confirm which keys and equipment you have received.
Photograph the condition and keep the frame number. They can help if a previous mark or a theft later needs documenting. Tell the shop about any fault before you leave; taking a photo is not a substitute for reporting a problem.
Confirm the payment arrangement
Keep the selected price, start date, commitment and paid deposit with your agreement. For the six-month plan, the stated first payment is DKK 399: DKK 99 for month one and a DKK 300 deposit. Monthly payments then follow the agreement.
Read the terms before starting. They remain marked as a draft, and the final agreement must be clear when you subscribe. The booking form itself does not charge you.
When something goes wrong
Contact your assigned shop and check its opening hours. Describe the fault. If the bike cannot safely be ridden, agree transport or the next step; there is no roadside service van.
Ordinary faults and wear are included under the service arrangement. Damage, theft and routine care are different issues. If the bike is stolen, follow the theft guide.
Before returning it
Write to [email protected] to confirm cancellation and the end date. A subscription does not automatically end when classes or the initial commitment finish. Arrange return during shop opening hours and bring the bike, keys and any included equipment.
Get a dated receipt identifying the bike by its frame number. Ask for any damage to be recorded. Keep photos and the statement with your agreement until the deposit has been settled.
Sources and scope
This checklist uses Ring Ring's service overview and draft subscription terms. It is practical guidance and does not replace the agreement provided at the start. See the semester guide if you already have a fixed flight home.
